Low-E energy-saving glass

Low-E glass, also known as low-radiation coated glass, is a film product composed of multiple layers of metal or other compounds coated on the glass surface. Its coating layer has the characteristics of high transmittance of visible light and high reflection of mid- and far-infrared rays. Compared with ordinary glass and traditional architectural coated glass, it can reduce the shading coefficient while maintaining the visible light transmittance, effectively reduce solar radiation, create a comfortable living environment, and significantly reduce summer cooling costs and winter heating costs. It can be used to solve the contradiction between lighting and shading, thereby achieving energy-saving and environmental protection effects.

Building energy-saving door and window glass
Insulating glass is a building door and window material with good heat insulation, anti-fog and sound insulation performance. It is currently widely used in building doors and windows. Door and window glass needs to use insulating glass, which is a requirement of the national mandatory building energy-saving specifications. It has been included in the “Energy-saving Design Standard for Residential Buildings in Hot Summer and Cold Winter Areas” and other national mandatory construction design standards. The new standard requires that new buildings must achieve energy saving of more than 50%. However, as people’s living standards improve, they have higher requirements for living environment, and ordinary insulating glass can no longer meet people’s needs. There are higher requirements for the thermal insulation performance, energy saving and environmental protection performance of doors and windows. To improve the performance of insulating glass, the use of Low-E energy-saving glass in glass type, the use of thickened or warm edge strips in the hollow spacer, the increase of the number of hollow cavity structure layers, and the filling of inert gas in the hollow cavity will effectively improve the performance of insulating glass.
YIHAI achieves superior acoustic and thermal insulation through glass selection and gas filling.
Features of Low-E Coated Glass
It can effectively filter out the near-infrared ray in sunlight, reduce the sunshade coefficient while maintaining the visible light transmittance, effectively reduce the heat of the solar radiation, create a comfortable living environment, reduce the cost of summer cooling, and can be used to solve the contradiction between lighting and shading.
Double glazed glass commonly consists of two (sometimes more) panes of glass separated by an aluminum spacer and sealed together at the edge. The insulating airspace is filled with dry air or a noble gas, such as argon or krypton inside to slow the heat exchange and reduce noise levels. The aluminum spacer is filled with silica desiccant pellets to ensure removal of any moisture in the airspace. The IGU is designed to keep homes warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Low E Glass: Low E glass (Low Emissivity) provides excellent performance in situations where temperature separation is desired. Low-E is used to help meet energy efficiency requirements by blocking UV light and providing heat insulation. This is done with a special thin-film metallic or oxide coating which prevents the passage of short-wave solar energy into a building and also prevents longwave energy produced by heating systems and lighting from escaping outside. Low-e Insulated Glass : it is made by 2pcs or more float glasses which filled with desiccant of Argon gas with Aluminum frame. Primary seal(butyl)between glass and Aliminum frame, secondry seal(polysulfide or structure). the insulated glass will be effectively protect radiation when coated Low-E film.
